Good Morning,

Here are the meet details for Saturday’s meet at Adelphi. Once I have the entries and meet program, I'll send them out.  The pool is located at 9442 Riggs Road, Hyattsville, MD 20783.

• I am looking for 3 timers and 1 relief timer. (Timers spend most of the meet in shade)
• We have ZERO Clerk of Course reps signed up. We need at least 2.

• HCC will warm up from 7:50-8:15am. 7:50 a.m. is when swimmers jump in the water, not arrive! Plan to arrive at 7:30 a.m.
• Bring canopies for shade.
• AR has a good number of chairs at the pool but recommends families to bring camp chairs for spectating and for the team area.
• Parking will be tight in their lot so please encourage families to carpool (if possible).
• AR asks that parents adhere to the instructions given to them by our parking lot attendants.
• AR provides ribbons for finishers 1-12 and participant ribbons for any finishers beyond 12th place.
• Meet Mobile will be used for the meet with real time results.
• Bring your water bottle – they have a refillable water station!
• AR has Charlie’s Café. They will be serving coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and other breakfast items (donuts, muffins, oatmeal, etc.), and closer to lunch they’ll offer burgers, veggie burgers, salmon burgers, hot dogs, hummus and carrots, walking tacos, watermelon, etc. They sell Gatorade, soft drinks, and water.

Please READ – this is IMPORTANT because seating is like a USA meet. Swimmers on one side and parents on the other!

From AR: The HCC and Adelphi team areas are right next to each other (Adelphi on the right and HCC on the left) on the far side of the hill. Swimmers are asked to sit in their team area with their coaches, and parents are asked to sit in the spectators’ area. If a swimmer needs to be with their parents, we ask the parents to manage their swimmer in the spectator area. Our team areas are small and we want to minimize crowding for the safety of the coaches and swimmers. Please make sure your families know that only officials and other meet volunteers are allowed on the deck during the meet. All spectators need to be on the hill and all swimmers, not swimming, in their team area.

7:20-7:45am -- Adelphi Warm-up

7:50-8:15am -- HCC Warm-up

8:00am -- Officials Meeting (at the picnic tables behind the slide)

8:00am -- Timers Meeting (bottom of the main stairs)

8:20am – National Anthem

8:30am -- Meet Start Time

All medley relay swimmers should be under the start-end canopies and all 9-10 and 11-12 butterfly swimmers are to the Clerk of Course by 8:25am. We want to move through the meet as efficiently as possible given the high temperatures predicted for Saturday.
